This is a picture by a Mexican artist.
During this time period it was very near to the turn of the century so the sun setting could be like the sun setting on the old century. Also back then Op art was very popular. Op art is when artist use color ,line and shape to focus the eye to another part of the painting. This is examples of warm colors. They compliment and accent the blue of the ocean.
