This is a picture from my culture, since I'm Irish and this was painted by an Irish Artist. During this time Adolf Hitler was born. There was a large volcanic eruption in southwest Alaska. The foggy feeling could be like a heavy weight of the disturction over southwest Alaska. I think that this paitnings is a very good example of value. Value makes the image lok 3-D. I think value is key here because it really makes you feel like you are looking at the image for yourself. Value also refers to the lightest and darkness of paintings. I think that this applies because it goes from light to dark from inside to out.
